Itinerary
DAY 1: HA NOI- MAI CHAU
- 7:00 am: Pick up at the hotel in old quarter in Hanoi to go to Mai Chau.
- 11 am: Arrive Mai Chau, check in the hotel, take a rest
- 12: am- 13:00 pm: Have a lunch
- 13:00 pm: Vistit White Thai, H'mong Zao, Muong, Tay, Hoa and Viet minorities groups. The Mai Chau hill tribbles are warm and welcoming and famous for their handicrafts, especially is for their skills in embroidering clothes. You will also have an opportunity to visit a nearby village to see a music and dance performance of the Thai people and the local handicrafts in the evening (at surcharge).
- 17.30 pm: Back to the hotel, take a rest
- 18.30:pm: Have a dinner
- 19.30 pm: Have a free time
DAY 2: MAI CHAU - PU LUONG
- 9:00 am: Check out the hotel and depart from the lodge after break first on a scenic 1 hour drive to the heights of Hoa Binh Province and the rocky plateau of Hang Kia. The scenarioizes are changing as you are going up , plumtree and com fields replace the rice paddles. Enter H'Mong ethic land lands where people are colorfully dressed and living in a wooden ground floor houses.
- 11.30 am: Reach the middle of the reserve and a little village called Ban Bang, meet the local guide and start the hike towards his village. It's is an easy walk to this beautiful hamlet nested at the bottom of the deep valley.
- 12:00 pm: Get to Kho Muong and have a lunch at the local guide
- 13.30 pm: Teck from Kho Muong to Ban Don in Pu luong (around 12 km)
- 16.30 pm: Check in the hotel in Ban Don
- 16.30-18.00 pm: Relax and be free
- 18.00 pm: Dinner time
- 19.30 pm: Free time
DAY 3: PU LUONG - NINH BINH
- 7:00 am: Have a breakfast at the hotel
- 7:30 am: Depart to the east to Ninh Binh. it takes about 3 hours drive including a part on the historical Ho Chi Minh Road to reach the Ninh Binh region.
- 10:30 am: Start to visit Tam Coc a scenic rowed - sampan cruise to Tam Coc, the most renewed valley of the region for its towering limestone rocks and beautiful rice field.
- 12:00am: Back to Tam Coc Wharf and have a lunch in a local restaurant with the special local food
- 13.30pm: Visit Bich Dong Pagoda that nearby Ngu Nhac Mountain
- 14.30 pm: Vistit Hoa lu - ancient capital. Visit 2 remaining temples of the Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Dai Hanh and scenic of the Yen Ngua Mountain. Then if you are interested, walk haft sn hour up to one of the surrounding limestone hills for spectacular views over the ruins.
- 17.30 pm: Finish a day visit in Ninh Binh and go to check in the hotel in Ninh Binh and take a rest
- 18.30 pm: Have a dinner
- 20:00pm: Free
DAY 4: NINH BINH - CAT BA LAN HA BAY
- 7.30 am: After break first, depart through the Red River Delta to the coast and th island of Cat Hai. Take the local ferry to reach the island of Cat Ba and set off for crossing to its southern tip along a road that winds between sea and mountains. Stop a long the way for a simple lunch before climbing to the top of a peak for a superb view of the forest which covers a large part of the island, for a spectacular view of Lan Ha Bay.
- 12:00 pm: Lunch time
- 13.30 pm: Depart for the post of Beo, a few kmetter away. Your junk awaits you moored at the small port. Your crew is made up of a few sailors from the island. Then you will be taken by the local people to go far from the classic tourist routes to discover the archipelago and the most unknown conners of the lan Ha Bay, kayaking , swimming and relaxation on the program. Then disembark and return to hotel overnight.
DAY 5: CAT BA-HANOI
- 7.30 am: Have a breakfast at the hotel in Cat Ba - Lan Ha Bay
- 8:30 am: Return to Hanoi
- 11.30 am: Arrive Ha Noi or departure
