After busy city tour, this tour will help you see the countryside of Vietnam. It is about 65 km west from Hanoi. You can enjoy the fresh air of tropical forests and many spectacular natural scenery.
Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi - Cuc Phuong National Park (L, D)
Pick up at hotel and drive to Cuc Phuong National Park, one of Vietnam's oldest national parks and consequently one of the best managed. It's approximately 22,000 ha of subtropical forest and karst limestone scenery, and home to an extraordinary range of unique species. You'll visit the park's Endangered Primate Centre, where you'll be able to see two of the rarest species in the world, the critically endangered Delacour and Cat Ba langurs. Stay over night in National Park.
Day 2: Cuc Phuong - Mai Chau (B, L, D)
After breakfast at National Park guest house, drive to Mai Chau in its pretty valley with a patchwork of rice paddies, farms and stilt houses. The area is the home of many ethnic minorities, including the Muong and the Thai. Home stay at stilt house
Day 3: Mai Chau - Hanoi (B, L)
Following breakfast we embark on a lovely walk to Lac village and Van village. As we walk we will encounter the local villagers going about their daily business tilling the fields, logging or herding the buffalo. We enjoy lunch in Mai Chau before we drive back to Hanoi. Visit Muong village in Hoa Binh before tour finish at your hotel in Hanoi.
