This 2 day trip is a combination of mountain biking on the most amazing road in Vietnam, sightseeing and walking. Along the ride, you will be able to enjoy magnificent views from the pass and visit villages of Black Hmong, Lu and Thai minorities.
You will start out from Sapa by cycling the 16 kilometers uphill to the Vietnam highest pass of Tram Ton, at 2000 meters above sea level. From here it is downhill for around 26 kilometers on the road described as the most beautiful one in Vietnam with breathtaking scenery all the way to Binh Lu. In the late afternoon you will arrive in Tam Duong, where you will stay overnight in a comfortable local guesthouse. Distance: 73 Km (15 km in jeep). Up / Straight / Down: 18 km / 3 km / 37 km
The next morning you can explore the market in Tam Duong, before starting on your journey back towards Binh Lu. There is almost no traffic and you will cycle through small villages and meet different ethnic minorities. Your jeep will be waiting in Tam Duong to take you back to Sapa. You will arrive back in Sapa later that afternoon. Distance: 55 Km (15 km in jeep). Up / straight / down: 7 km / 11 km / 37 km
